Community Guidelines

Effective 29 October 2026 · Applies to every AJENTO member, visitor and listing.

1. Our purpose

AJENTO is a property marketplace and professional network. These guidelines keep property information accurate, interactions respectful and transactions safer for everyone. They apply to listings, posts, comments, reviews, messages, groups, ads, profiles and any other content or conduct on the platform. By using AJENTO you agree to follow them, together with our Terms of Service.

2. Honest identity

  • Use your real name or registered business name and an accurate professional role.
  • Do not impersonate another person, agency or brand, or use a name confusingly similar to a verified account.
  • Do not claim verification, licences, qualifications or affiliations you do not hold.
  • One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade limits, suspensions or bans.

3. Accurate property information

  • Listings must describe real, available properties with accurate prices, locations, sizes and features.
  • Photos and videos must show the actual property; do not use misleading or unrelated media.
  • Do not post duplicate listings for the same property to gain extra visibility.
  • Only advertise property you own or are authorised to market.
  • Never pressure anyone to pay before inspecting the property and verifying the owner. AJENTO will never ask you to skip inspection.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are not allowed anywhere on AJENTO:

  • Scams and fraud, including advance-fee schemes, fake listings, phantom properties and off-platform payment pressure.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or sexual content directed at any person.
  • Spam, bulk unsolicited messages, artificially inflated engagement or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
  • Publishing another person’s private data — phone numbers, addresses, documents or financial details — without consent.
  • Illegal goods or services, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
  • Attempts to circumvent moderation, rate limits, blocks or account restrictions.

5. Respect and privacy

  • Treat members courteously in posts, comments, reviews, messages and calls.
  • Respect blocks, mutes and message-request declines; do not repeatedly contact someone who has declined contact.
  • Keep private-group content and direct messages private; do not republish them without permission.
  • Do not record or redistribute video calls without the consent of all participants.

6. New-member safeguards

To protect the community from throwaway scam accounts, members whose accounts are under seven days old cannot post links, and their first three posts are reviewed before appearing publicly. Repeated duplicate text, rapid-fire posting, mass following or excessive messaging is automatically limited. These safeguards lift automatically as an account matures in good standing.

7. Enforcement

Reports and automated safety signals are reviewed by trained human moderators. Depending on severity and history, AJENTO may dismiss a report, issue a warning, hide or remove content, limit its reach, restrict features, suspend an account or ban it permanently. Every enforcement action records a reason, is logged, and generates a notification to the affected member. Serious fraud, threats or illegal conduct may be reported to law enforcement.

8. Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, use the appeal link in your decision notification or visit your Safety page. Appeals go to a separate review queue and are decided by a moderator who was not involved in the original action. You will receive the outcome and a short explanation.

9. Reporting

Use the Report option on any post, comment, profile, group, review or ad to alert us privately. Reports are confidential — the reported member is not told who reported them. Deliberately false or abusive reporting may itself lead to restrictions.

10. Changes

We may update these guidelines as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app, and the effective date above will be revised. Continued use of AJENTO after an update constitutes acceptance.
